CG Says: BMW’s sporty compact 2-door lineup gains a high-performance M2 model for 2016, along with additional standard equipment on existing models. Also, the M235i convertible is now available with all-wheel drive. The new M2 comes only as a rear-wheel-drive coupe with special sport-tuned suspension and unique styling features; it’s powered by a 365 horsepower turbocharged 3.0-liter 6-cylinder paired with either a 6-speed-manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual. In addition to the M2, BMW 2-Series coupes and convertibles are offered in 228i (powered by a 240-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder) and M235i (powered by a 322-hp twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter 6-cylinder) trims. An 8-speed automatic transmission is standard with both engines, though a 6-speed manual is available on either as a no-cost option. Available features include lane-departure warning, forward collision warning and mitigation, heated steering wheel, heated front seats, and park-assist sensors. The BMW 2-Series coupe offers genuine BMW performance and character in a smaller, more affordable package.
You’ll be giving up passenger and cargo room in the bargain, but to some sporty-car buyers, the 2-Series’ compact dimensions are an asset.

Finished in a bright Melbourne Red Metallic paint, it is in a great color combination! This car is jammed up with options! The base MSRP was $39,700 and the total after options was over $55,000! The car runs and drives perfectly.
There is not a shake, vibration, or issue at any speed in this car. The tires have excellent tread remaining, and the car tracks straight under both acceleration and braking. You are bidding on a 2016 BMW 228i xDrive AWD that we recently purchased from the insurance company.
