They're typical questions that get asked here a lot, so many long time users put boilerplate responses together. I have quite a few myself. You just get tired of typing out the same thing from scratch so many times. The question I didn't see asked in return on either of those (not directly), is how much RAM do you have installed? Eric's links have that as something to check for slow computer response, and was one of the things he wanted to see in an EtreCheck report. The minimum RAM requirements are 2 GB, which will allow the Mac to run, but it will be dog slow. A realistic minimum is 4 GB, but even that isn't really enough. I myself wouldn't suggest less than 8, if your Mac can have that much installed. But the other main reason he's looking for an EtreCheck report is to see what software is installed.
Known crapware that will slow any Mac down are things like MacKeeper, CleanMyMac, just about any anti virus software, and other garbage software which will, every single time, make your Mac's performance worse, rather than better. Very thanks to you and mr. Eric for helping me, i got what you mean and its kinda normally thing and would happen on windows too, Even though i didn't install any Antivirus or MacKeeper or something like that before or now and i dont know in which case my mac got slow after updating But the Only thing which i want to know is one single question, that if i format my hard drive and reinstall the OS X Yosemite again would this issue be fixed?!I said before that i installed Windows 7 in mac once by Virtualbox and before update to new OS X i uninstalled both of them completely. If there is any problem by that, would it be fixed by formatting the hard drive and install the OS X again!?sorry for disturbing you i know every time you have many questions to ask for other users but i really really got confused and dont know what to dothank you so much. Up to you to try reformatting the drive if you have the time, and much more importantly, have a full backup of your current data on a separate drive before doing so.Many don't agree, but in the case of both Windows and the Mac OS, I have never once - ever - seen a computer that didn't run better from an OS that was installed on an erased drive rather than installing the new OS over an old one. It's the only way I personally will upgrade to a new OS.Since I have a lot of large apps that need to be reinstalled, and work to do, I always install the new OS on an separate, erased partition.
As I have time, I keep reinstalling my apps until everything is the same as the previous OS. It may take a week or two, but that allows me to keep working under the previous OS until I have the new one ready. That also allows me to check for issues with the new OS, such as apps that won't run correctly under the new OS; bugs the new OS introduces that are a direct problem with getting client work done, etc. The new OS will just sit there as a test bed until things that need to be worked out, are. Then I'm not one of the many users who come here complaining, '(Name any major upgrade Apple has released) has ruined my Mac!
How do I downgrade to the previous OS!' Which is often followed by, 'I don't have a backup.' No software is perfect. No company is perfect. I don't understand why people believe Apple should be any different in that respect.
I really do appreciate for what you have done foe me.I have same view of you that is better to have clean install and not install the new one over the old one.But by the way im not complaining here about the Apple, I am a huge fan of Apple. I always been and always will be, but the thing is this which i bought the MacBook about 1.5 year ago and these issues never had happened to me before.
I have been using Windows before and i know they were not succeed on Windows 8 and its completely normal for a new software to have some issue even by Apple i know that.Anyways, Im gonna reformat my hard drive and have clean install the OS X Yosemite and hope to dont see these issue that i have now again.
